COMMITMENTS / PROCUREMENTS
 
Family:
Each family is responsible to contribute:
An item(s) valued at $75 towards the auction or a check/cash in the amount of $75.
The family commitment can either be item(s) valued at $75 or cash. To help make this process easier, I’ve attached a list of suggested and popular items. If you choose to donate an item(s), please drop off your item(s) with either Brenda at the Kingsgate office or Jamie Huscroft at Castle Ice Arena. Also, please keep in mind that your item(s) must be valued at $75, but may be purchased at a marked down (on sale) price. If you decide to pay $75 (instead of purchasing an item), then simply log in to your player account and pay your family obligation ($75 amount) online. Please note, that regardless of how many children you have playing for our organization, the amount remains the same: $75 per family. Your family obligation must be turned in by December 19, 2011 at the very latest. So don’t wait, take advantage of the great sales and get your item(s) before the holiday season quickly sneaks up on us.
 
Team:
Each team is responsible to contribute:
1)      Items(s) valued at $250.00, minimum
2)      2 bottles of wine, your choice
3)      One volunteer for auction day set-up and staffing
Typically, at the beginning of each hockey season, each team manager assigns a parent auction representative to represent their team. Otherwise the team manager will automatically have the responsibility to represent their team as their team's auction representative.  Along with your team’s $250 item(s) commitment, the auction rep is also responsible to collect 2 bottles of wine from your teamwhich will be added to the wine cellar and auctioned off. Each team rep is responsible to turn in your team procurement item(s) and 2 bottles of wine to either Brenda at the Kingsgate office or with Jamie Huscroft at Castle Ice Arena. All team obligations must be turned in by December 19, 2011 at the very latest. Lastly, due to the location of this year’s auction each team needs to provide at least one volunteer that can commit to helping with set up on 2/11/12. This will involve staging the silent auctions, setting up and manning the check in/out tables and running various “games”.
