Skating is the foundation of all great hockey players. Get your player started on the right track with our Learn to Skate programs.
As early as age 3 or 4 players can be learning to skate with their parents during public skating sessions or through one of our Learn To Skate pre school programs.
Our Learn To Skate programs are about establishing the foundation of skating. No hockey equipment is necessary (nor allowed except for a helmet)
A player may continue to take Learn To Skate for as long as they are getting benefits out of it.
The Learn To Skate program is an excellent way to start your player and can be utilized seperately or in addition to our Learn To Play Hockey programs.
The quicker your player becomes a strong skater the sooner they will have success with the game and the more they will enjoy playing.
Sessions run every 7 weeks and you can sign up for once or twice per week.
SnoKing offers Learn To Skate programs at both of our rinks.
