Beginners | Learn to Skate | Private Lessons
Kids ages 5 through 10 have the opportunity to learn the game of hockey.
They will learn how to skate, handle a puck with a stick, and many other valuable life skills.
Our winter beginner program starts in October and runs through February.
Our spring beginner program starts in March and runs through July. Players may join at any time on a space available basis at a pro-rated fee.
To make sure you child gets a spot in the beginner program, please register your player via the online registration in our registration page.

What do I get for Equipment Rental?
Each player is required to wear full gear. Rental equipment is available for $50. Gear available for rent consists of the following:
• Skates
• Knee Pads
• Hockey Pants
• Shoulder Pads
• Elbow Pads
• Helmet
Additional equipment that is required but is not available for rent is:
• Socks
• Jersey
• Cup
• Stick
Equipment pick up and ice times will be determined by early September. You can purchase the non-rented items (or buy instead of renting the other equipment) at the Firstline Proshop at the Kingsgate Ice arena (call 425-820-1210 for hours), at Northwest Pro Hockey (425-828-GOAL), or at any number of other hockey equipment locations.

Private Hockey Skating Lessons
Sno-King has several qualified individuals that provide private skating lessons. All are excellent in teaching power skating and hockey lessons. Please email our instructors to setup individual lessons.
