Sno-King Board of Directors
Jarett started coaching at Sno-King after graduating from college and moving to Washington in 1990. He spent the next fourteen hockey seasons coaching the Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget Tier I teams along with serving two terms on the Board of Directors without having a player in the program. After stepping away for a few years to focus on his career as an attorney and start a family, he re-joined Sno-King when his son (currently an 18U player) started playing in the beginner program during the 2010-2011 hockey season. Since his return, he has assisted with the beginner program, been an assistant coach at the 8U and 10U levels, and served as the head coach for 12U, 14U, 16U, and now 18u select teams. He has coached over 300 youth hockey players in 26 seasons and served as a board member for the past ten plus years, including finishing his second year as president of the Board of Directors. During his tenure on the board, Jarett has assisted in re-drafting the association’s bylaws and guided our leadership team through building Sno-King Ice Arena – Snoqualmie and the COVID-19 pandemic. Jarett hopes to continue using his extensive Sno-King experience to continue serving the membership, help grow the association, and improve the board’s role in governing the association.
