Hockey 1

Program Description

Our Learn To Play programs are all about learning the skills of a great sport in a fun and challenging environment. Players learn the fundamental skills of how to skate, handle a puck with a stick, and many other valuable life skills.

Ages: Youth 4 to 9 years (2009 - 2014 birth years)
Prerequisite: N/A (new skaters welcome)
Series Length:  6 Week Series one class a week (may join at any time if space is available)

Program Details:
The focus and goal of Hockey 1 is to teach beginner ice skaters the fundamentals of ice skating. It’s important for these players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving onto Hockey 2 – Learn to Play.  Proper skating techniques are the primary focus of the levels. Skaters will learn the necessary ice skating fundamentals to be successful in Hockey 2 - Learn to Play.  To register click the Register Now link.

RENTON

December 9th to February 3rd (no class Dec 23rd, Dec 30th, Jan 20th)

February 10th to March 24th (NO CLASS Feb 17th and March 3rd)

Days: Sundays   Times: 11:30am to 12:30pm  

Cost: $150 with no equipment rental (60 minute class), $180 includes equipment rental for 6 weeks.

Days: Saturdays Times: 9am to 9:45am

Cost: $112.50 with no equipment rental (45 minute class), $142.50 includes equipment rental for 6 weeks.
