10-14 year olds - New to Hockey

Late Start Program for kids 10-14 years old!

Our Late Start Learn To Play program is about learning the skills of a great sport in a fun and challenging environment. Players learn the fundamental skills of how to skate and handle a puck with a stick, and then play games in a group of their peers.

Ages: Youth 10  to 14 years 
Prerequisite: N/A (new skaters welcome)
Series Length:  10 Week Series - one class a week (may join at any time if space is available)

Program Details:
The focus and goal of our late start program is to teach beginner ice skaters the fundamentals of hockey. It’s important for these players to become comfortable on the ice while learning the basic hockey skills. Players will get to participate in games with their peer group in this class as well. 

The classes will focus on skill acquisition for the first 4 weeks, and then move into half skills/half games for the last 6 weeks of the session. 

2019-2020 season

Cost: $300/season (10 weeks)

Gear rental: available for $50/session 

Equipment required: Full hockey gear & stick - Players MUST be in full gear for this class. Please make an appointment IMMEDIATELY after registering. Late Start gear is only available to rent at our Renton location. Gear cannot be rented on the day of class.

KIRKLAND - SATURDAYS

Dates:  January 11th to April 4th

No classes on: January 18th, February 15th, March 28th

Times:  12:15pm to 1:15pm

RENTON - SUNDAYS - CLASS FULL - new classes starting in april

Dates:  January 12th to April 5th

No classes on: January 19th, February 16th, March 8th

Times:  11:35am to 12:35pm
