Sno-King: Good Sportsmanship

By Sno-King Staff, 02/14/20, 11:15AM PST

As we enter the last month of the season teams play in tournaments and playoffs so the intensity on the ice naturally picks up. Please encourage your player to be poised and show great sportsmanship on the ice and respect to their teammates, opponents and officials during this time.

As a friendly reminder, as parents, please show exceptional sportsmanship and stay poised as well. Demonstrate positive support to the entire experience. You are teaching your children through your behavior and through what you say and how you say it.

I know it goes without saying, but please act with positive attitudes and a caring spirit toward each other, our staff, coaches, volunteers, referees, and the opponents players and parents. When you are traveling to other arenas for games please demonstrate a behavior that reflects the highest standard of sportsmanship.

This is a kids sport meant to be played with a spirit of fair, healthy competition and fun. Your time with your kids flies by in an instant. Enjoy this time with your family and let the kids enjoy their time playing.

We very much appreciate everyone that has volunteered this season and appreciate all of you for being part of the Sno-King family.
