Communication Regarding COVID-19

By Sno-King Staff, 03/02/20, 9:45AM PST

Sno-King continues to monitor the dynamic evolving situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on our region. We are aware that some schools are taking actions as they respond to situations at their particular locations. At this time all Sno-King practices, games and programs are going on as scheduled. We continue to closely monitor the guidance from the Seattle and King County Public Health Department and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

In the meantime, here are some guidelines from the CDC for you to follow:

  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol. Note: We have added hand sanitizers in key locations within the arenas so please feel free to use them.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Wipe down your cell phone routinely.
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow/arm, not your hands. Wash your hands afterwards.
  • Consider boosting your immunity by eating vitamin-C rich foods, getting enough vitamin D, etc. Emergen-C is also available in the kitchen.
  • If You’re Sick or Someone You Live With is Sick
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • If you have a sick family member or roommate at home with COVID-19 refer to CDC guidance for how to conduct a risk assessment of potential exposure.

For more information on mitigating your risk, please visit the CDC website.
