Schedule and Game Update

By Sno-King Staff, 03/06/20, 1:15PM PST

The MHL has decided to keep the game schedule active this weekend so all games for 10U and older will go on as scheduled. We will continue to maintain the practice and game schedule in place for 10U teams and up.

We ask that you let the coach of your team know as soon as possible if your son or daughter will not participate. Coaches may also decide about whether to have practice or not and we ask that you let Andrew know if you intend to cancel practice well before the scheduled time. If someone shows up sick, please send them home.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID – 19 information closely including information available within our local region as the health and safety of our players, staff, families and community is a top priority.

If you’re sick or someone you live with is sick,

  • Stay home if you are sick, coughing or sneezing.
  • If you have a sick family member or roommate at home with COVID-19 refer to CDC guidance for how to conduct a risk assessment of potential exposure.

Below are some guidelines for players to follow when in the arenas:

  • Each player should bring their own individual water bottle. Players should not share water bottles. Keep them separated.
  • Teams should not be using community water bottles.
  • No sharing of gloves or helmets among players.
  • Maintain personal space in locker rooms, especially after games when players are wet and sweaty.
  • Fist bumps with gloves on. No contact of bare hands.
  • No spitting (of saliva and water) on floors, on the ice, and on benches.

For information on mitigating your risk, please visit the CDC website.

Upcoming tournaments include the 10U and 12U festivals. These are run by PNAHA so they will make any decisions needed on those tournaments. We hope to hear word of their decision in the next couple days and will keep you informed.
