2021-2022 Division Rep Announcements & Registration Update

By Sno-King Staff, 07/16/21, 2:15PM PDT

Hockey Families,

We hope everyone is soaking up the sun and recharging for an exciting new season ahead. Registrations for 8U-18U players continue to fill up our teams and rinks for the fall and we are looking forward to seeing you soon. Staff is actively planning ice schedules, tournaments, jersey orders and recruiting coaches/volunteers as we plan to support over 50 teams again this season. Below are a few updates we wanted to share with you:

Our 8U Kirkland program is now full and has been moved to waitlist. We invite interested 8U players to join our 8U Renton, 8U Snoqualmie or 8U Girls teams to guarantee a spot with our program next season. There are limited spots remaining so please don’t delay. In addition, our girls teams and many Rec groups are also close to filling.  To register click here. For information about our youth hockey program please visit our program page.  As a reminder, registration closes on August 1st (with the exception of 12U A1/A2 tryouts invites).

Division Rep Announcements:

We are grateful for the efforts of hundreds of Sno-King families offering their time and talents to help our youth hockey program function. While there are many volunteer roles available, the Division Rep is vital to player development and community connection. Division Reps facilitate the American Development Model (ADM) practice planning and assist with communications across their respective age division as well as being a resource for coaches, players and families. We are thrilled to announce the following volunteer Division Reps for our 2021-2022 season.

  • 8U Rec: Jeff Sweeney (Kirkland), Jay Hovanec (Renton) and Chris Frank (Snoqualmie)
  • 8U-12U Girls: Spencer Rodgers & Melissa Erkel
  • 10U Rec: TBA after 10U A tryouts
  • 10U Select: Jeff Shiu
  • 12U Rec: David Steele
  • 12U Select: Clayton Rodgers
  • 14U Rec: Happy Longfellow
  • 14U-16U Select Girls: Melissa Tremel
  • 18U Rec: Steve Johnson

We'll continue to keep families updated in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact our Hockey Program Manager, Gord Hancock at or Hockey Director, Doug Kirton

Thank you,

Sno-King Staff
