Sno-King registration opens July 1st

By Sno-King Staff 06/28/2020, 2:30pm PDT

Registration for the 2020/2021 season will begin July 1, 2020 at 5pm for those players that were registered with Sno-King last season (2019/2020) including Hockey 2 players.  To register, you will need a USA Hockey number for the coming season (click here) and at least one parent will need to be SafeSport certified (click here). It’s helpful to have completed this in advance of registration.

There may be limitations on the number of players we can register for certain age groups so once that limit is reached players may be put on a waiting list. Be sure to register early to secure your spot. For players that were not registered at Sno-King last year but wish to register for the 2020/2021 season, registration will commence August 1, 2020 at noon. We will be providing a link to register and more information regarding season fees in the coming week.

Stay tuned for more info.

Sno-King: 2020/2021 Season Registration

By Sno-King Staff 06/18/2020, 1:30pm PDT

We are pleased to announce we will be moving forward with our plans for a 2020/2021 season and registration for Sno-King members from last season will officially open July 1, 2020 at 5PM. Registration for non-Sno-King members will begin August 1, 2020 and registration will close August 15, 2020. We will be providing a link to registration details in the coming days. To register, you will need a USA Hockey number for the coming season (click here) and at least one parent will need to have become Safesport certified (click here).

As with many things in our lives today, there is some uncertainty as to the exact shape the season will take based on the health requirements and guidelines that will be in place during the season. First and foremost will be the safety and health of our players and members. We have already instituted many procedures in our arenas and our operations to accomplish that and will continue to monitor relevant guidelines.

While we are hopeful for a season that closely resembles those of years past, we are shaping several alternative plans that would provide exceptional development opportunities regardless of the conditions we face. Our new ice arena in Snoqualmie is scheduled to be open for the upcoming season and we are fortunate to have that additional ice as it will provide opportunities for us to adapt and be flexible to adjust to the environment in the coming months.

Sno-King is and will continue to be a program that Builds Players for Life which means that at our core, we are a program that focuses on player development. That includes encouraging a love and appreciation of the game that lasts a lifetime, developing foundational hockey skills that allow a player to go as far in the game as their natural talent and desire can take them, and instilling the life skills needed to help shape our players for successful futures. These principles will be at the heart of our planning and design for the season.

We encourage you to register early as there will be limits on the number of players we can accept in some age groups. Early registration also allows the staff to prepare schedules and order apparel for the coming season in a timely manner. We look forward to the coming season and to seeing you back at the rinks.

In preparation for the upcoming season and tryouts, we are pleased to offer several Fitness and Training sessions at both Renton & Kirkland locations. There are still slots available and the training sessions are an excellent way for players to get back into shape and be active. You can register for those sessions by clicking here.
